Shady Chocobo came to me to redesign his site to be more professional and user friendly. I needed a portfolio filler. So here it is. Suggestions appreciated.

Update: Got rid of the shrooms by request of Shady, and I rounded out the content boxes more. And touched up other areas.

Daily Deviation

Given 2005-10-31

When I was 5, I got my first video game console, an NES. I used to play that thing for hours, but it has since been sold and I have been without old games. So of course, I usually resort to ROMs.ShadyRoms by *Musoka-Kun is what i'd like to see a ROM site look like. No excessive amounts of advertisements, no ugly color combinations and layouts. Just simple, straight to the point navigation. Is anybody going trick-or-treating as Mario this year? (Suggested by #designerscouch and Featured by `bornghost)

Its looking good man,
only thing that I can suggest would be, making the headers for the content boxes slightly shorter, they seem really tall.
also, I was looking at the shadyroms site, the current one.. You might want to try incorporating a similar background as the one that they have there.. I suppose it depends on the amount of professionalism they are looking for...

I'll take a look at the headers, they seems a bit big but any smaller and they look wierd.

And they wanted something more professional and user friendly than the current. I presented them this version today and they were happy with the gradient BG anyway.
